Um 2002 herum sollte aus den recherchierten Informationen eigentlich ein Drehbuch oder ein Buch über Joe Meek werden. Doch keine Filmproduktionsfirma und kein Verlag in Deutschland war interessiert. Und inzwischen hat jemand anderer den Film gemacht ... So wanderte das Material 2006 schließlich als "Joe Meek Page" online. Mehr als die Recordings-Listen und eine Urfassung des Portraits war es zunächst nicht, doch seitdem haben viele Fans weitere Informationen, Abbildungen und Ideen beigesteuert - die Site ist eine Dauerbaustelle und wächst noch immer ...

Around 2002, the informations researched were planned to be made into a book or a screenplay on Joe Meek. But no film production company and no publishing house in Germany was interested. And meanwhile somebody else made the movie ... So finally all the stuff went online as the "Joe Meek Page" in 2006. In the beginning it was just the recordings lists and an early portrait version, but just a few weeks later several fans started contributing informations, pictures and ideas - it's still a permanent building site and doesn't stop growing ...
